if you've been friended by me in the last day or so, I'm housekeeping (catching up with friending for some of you gorgeous things *licks*) and hunting down folks for whom the following things ring bells *g*:
- geekhaus
- burning man
- twister / sifter (mailing lists)
- the frog
- maxham
recently discovered most of the sifter/twister folks have made the transition to LJ and am looking for the same kinds of lively free-thinking discussion - suggestions re: LJ communities / personalities welcome

yes, 3/5 gets you a gold star *g* - don't think we've met in person either, but definitely heard you around on the sifter/twister lists (I'm a friend of Max's from TX who makes random appearances in CA from time to time)many thanks for the sifter additions

Re: Try the ladybugs, they're delicious.
Amusing to be referred to as a "sifter lj" since I've publicly referred to sifter as a cult and have said worse things about the leader, but none the less, I was very much a part of that group at one point in time and do qualify as a like-minded individual in many regards ;) Max is a good guy :)July 22 2005, 21:32:14 UTC 6 years ago

hello, pretty lady *g* - I think you and I actually met some years ago at Burning Man. And bwa - yes, sifter did at times resemble a cult. Thankfully, I'mno longer infectedabove the age of consent.Hoorah for like-mindedness - that's a rarity down here in the bible belt.
